Physical Phenomena Workshop presented by Violet Eccles
This workshop was held at Tumbetin House on the 17 May.
Feelings of anticipation and excitement, I had no idea what to expect. This was my first Phenomena workshop I had attended. The Planchette was so exciting; I was amazed at how easy it was to get the communication from Spirit on the day! To top off a fantastic afternoon, we then had the table’s moving about the room. Singing, laughter, happiness and joy filled the room. It was fantastic! What else can I say? I just can’t wait to do it all again.

My mother and I attended Violet Eccles physical phenomena workshop at Tumbetin Centre on 17th May. Violet was outstanding instructing and displaying the power of spirit with exceptional power, simplicity and clarity. It was a most enlightening experience, far beyond any other we have experienced in our 30 odd years as spiritualists.

We set out all five of us travelling from Hurstbridge and Eltham in two cars. Each of us unsure about what the physical phenomena workshop would reveal. I wondered if we would see some past examples of psychic phenomena or would we actually experience spirit communication on the day? We had discussed how exciting it would be if we could experience this first hand.Upon arrival at Tumbetin Centre there was already a large group of participants eagerly gathered and the anticipation and energy was already building…it was such a great vibe! Violet welcomed us all and began presenting the topic giving us many insights into forming a physical phenomena circle and recommending books and references to follow up so we each took notes of interest. It didn’t really matter that the slides couldn’t be shown as I believe it was spirits way of letting us know that this was to be a hands-on experiential day of learning.When it came time for us to make the connection with spirit in a physical way it was exhilarating, humorous and incredible all at the same time. I felt as though I was part of a fluid dance with spirit especially when using the planchette. The table tilting and dancing was also an experience I shall never forget as the look on all our four faces was priceless especially when the table actually started to move of its own accord. At first we felt an energy pulse which built to a gentle sway then into a more energetic rocking which caused us much laughter. It seemed the more we laughed the more spirit had fun. What an amazing afternoon it was and we are still talking about it on Sunday!It truly was a great experience to make physical contact with spirit in such a tangible and delightful way. Thank you to Violet and Ray and their wonderful commitment to us all as students. Also, a big THANK YOU to Spirit for allowing us gathered to experience this form of communication.
